Weymouth Agricultural and Industrial Society. Formed in 1864 to promote agriculture and industry in Weymouth. The company was incorporated under the same name in 1891. Most notable, they acquired 33 acres of land in south Weymouth and held the annual Weymouth Fair from 1864 to 1972. The fairgrounds have since been turned into a housing development.
