The Granite State Gold and Silver Mining Company. Incorporated in 1879. The company's offices were on Milk St. in Boston. Leased 175 acres on Surry Mountain in Hew Hampshire. The mining operation began in 1880 and proved unprofitable. The company eventually went out of business in 1887 and their mining rights were sold at auction.
Stock. Issued in 1881. #300. Incorporated in Conn. Mining operation Surry Mountain, Cheshire County New Hampshire. Issued in Boston.
