Nashua and Lowell Railroad Corporation. Incorporated in 1835, it ran from Lowell to Nashua NH, a distance of 15 Miles. Leased the Stony Brook Railroad when it opened in 1848. Also leased the Wilton and Peterborough lines. In 1880, all assets, where leased to the Boston and Lowell Railroad which in turn leased to its entire system to the Boston and Maine Railroad in 1887.
